Conyers Reintroduces Single Payer Bill

Congressman John Conyers (D-Michigan) has reintroduced his single payer bill – HR 676 – The Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act,” H.R. 676.

Conyers was joined by 37 other House members as original co-sponsors – 12 more than last year’s initiating group which eventually grew to 77.

The bill would replace private health insurance companies with a single, streamlined public agency that would pay all medical claims.
