Why is Senator Ben Cardin (D-Maryland) opposed to single payer?

We confronted Cardin yesterday in Hancock, Maryland.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi last week claimed that “drowning out opposing views is simply un-American.”

If that’s true, then Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic leadership in Congress, and President Obama are un-American.
