Iowa Congressman Tom Latham (R) wants to hear about your health care concerns.

So, last month, Single Payer Action paid a visit to one of Latham’s listening sessions in Jefferson, Iowa.

“We need single payer now,” said Polly Bekker.

“Two thirds of all bankruptcies are due to medical bills,” Bekker said. “Sixty people died yesterday because of the policies you support.”

“This is America,” Bekker said. “We need single payer health care where everybody is in and nobody is out.”

“The Congressman has the floor,” someone shouted at Bekker. “Please sit down.”
